    Toller Radweg der das Burgenland von Nord bis Süd auf sehr schöne Art und Weise beschreibt. Der flache Norden ist ebenso exotisch und faszinierend wie der sanfthügelige und interessante Süden. Stellenweise geht es auch nach Ungarn. Ich empfehle dafür das Routenbuch vom Iron Curtain Trail vom Burgenland Tourismus zu bestellen. Gratis!

    Ich und meine Frau haben entschieden die Tour Etappenweise zu machen. Wir können wegen unserer Tiere nicht länger unterwegs sein. Ist zwar mit der Anreise vom Südburgenland aufwändig, wir kommen aber bei jeder Etappe unserem Heimatort immer näher, 200 Meter von unserem Haus entfernt führt der Trail vorbei. Zur Praxis ist zu sagen, mal holen uns Freunde die mitfahren ( in der Zwischenzeit anderes unternehmen) ab, mal nehmen wir unsere normalen Räder mit und Fahren vom Ziel zum Start zurück, da steht das Auto. Auch super schön. Nebenbei möchte ich noch erwähnen dass die Gastronomie, egal wo wir auch waren, absolut hervorragend aufgestellt ist. Die Tour selbst ist wirklich gut durchdacht, manchmal muss man schon die Augen offen haben und sich auch gut vorbereiten, das ist aber selbstverständlich meine ich. Es ist jedenfalls eine wirklich gute Gelegenheit unser wunderschönes Land kennen zu lernen. Auch die Abstecher nach Ungarn, mit diesem Land wir wieder zusammenwachsen sind wunderbar. Bis jetzt haben wir fünf Etappen hinter uns , vielleicht schaffen wir Heuer alle. Jedenfalls möchte ich den ‚Machern‘ der Tour ein großes Kompliment machen und mich für die schönen Momente die wir unterwegs erlebt haben bedanken. Wir freuen uns auf die nächste Etappe, Sopron- Neckenmarkt.

    Sehr schöne Tour, die wir mit EBike in 2 Tagen ab Bahnhof Deutschkreutz gemacht haben. Fast durchgehend asphaltiert aber NICHT als Sonnenland-Tour markiert. (Warum? Darauf darf es doch nicht ankommen) Zahlreiche Einkehrmöglichkeiten entlang der Strecke, doch muss man dazu oft die Tour verlassen und in die Orte hineinfahren. Gute Nächtigungsmöglichkeit in Kirchschlag beim Hönigwirt. Gute Küche und versperrter Fahrradabstellraum vorhanden.
