    Konditionell fordernde, jedoch technisch einfache Wanderung über drei recht unterschiedliche Dreitausender. Die erste Herausforderung besteht darin, das Auto unbeschadet bis zum Parkplatz zu bringen, aber mit langsamer Fahrt und offenen Augen geht es. Der Start bei ca. 1.650m führt am malerischen Leibnitzbach entlang und weist eher geringe Steigung auf. So erreicht man bald die Hochschoberhütte. Die weitere Stecke bin ich im Uhrzeigersinn gegangen. Zunächst geht es über zunehmendes Blockgelände, kurz vor der Stankiskascharte können auch noch Altschneefelder liegen. Hier kommen dann auch die ersten Kletterstellen, die bis zum Gipfel allerdings nur sehr vereinzelt auftreten und m.E. niemals schwerer als II- sind. Die kleine Pfadspur ist meistens sehr steil und kraftraubend, aber so gewinnt man rasch an Höhe. Ich brauchte 3h bis zum Kreuz. Viele andere kamen über den Normalweg von der anderen Seite; am Gipfel dürfte man bei gutem Wetter selten allein sein. Der Weiterweg über den Grat zum Kleinschober sieht zunächst gruselig aus, entpuppt sich dann aber (für den erfahrenen Bergsteiger) als problemlos machbar. Man braucht halt ein gutes Gespür für den optimalen Weg. Der Debantgrat-Südgipfel ist mit wenigen zusätzlichen Höhenmetern zu gewinnen und lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Der Abastieg bis zum See geht recht zügig vonstatten und man wird wiederum mit einem malerischen Anblick belohnt. Ab hier sieht man dann schon die Hütte, und meint das Radler schon von weitem zu schmecken... Insgesamt eine genussvolle, wenig ernste Tour zum Genießen an einem schönen Sommertag. Bei widrigen Bedingungen dürfte sich die Sache sehr schnell ganz anders darstellen...
