Starting from the hiking car park, follow the circular route. You can get an insight into the local birdlife at the 6 display cases set up along the forest trail.

Nomen est Omen: on this short hike, you can expect spectacular views of the Bavarian Prealps. A panorama panel provides information on the names of the various peaks. In addition, there are six display cases on this circular route displaying birds made of clay. If you want to hear these birds chirp, you can borrow a TING listening pen (for a deposit) from the tourist information or at the Fischerhäusl. At the last display case, turn right and walk back to the starting point.
Author’s recommendation
After your walk, enjoy coffee and cake with coffee house music from January to April on Sundays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in changing guesthouses/hotels (see flyer).
