The moor water of the Soier Lake is gentle to the body, the little lake in the moor spa area Bad Bayersoien heats up quickly in spring and is not even crowded in summer.
A highlight for the little ones is certainly the nature trail around the Soier Lake. But not only children learn a lot about the local flora and fauna with effortless ease.
On the south side of the bathing area is a kiosk, a large lawn and boat rentals.
Boat hire at the Soier Lake (max. 4 persons):
- 4,00 € for the first 1/2 hour (with guest card 3,00 €)
- 2,00 € for every further 1/2 hour (with guest card 1,50 €)

- Half-day ticket 7,50 € (for guests of the community Bayersoien, the resorts Ammergau Alps and Pfaffenwinkel € 5,00; Ticket valid 5 a.m. - 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. - 9 p.m.)

Special: allowed 2 fishing rods. Fishing between 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Every fisherman needs a national fishing license and the fishing permit from the issuing office!
Public transport
Der Soier See ist bequem mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Die nächste Bushaltestelle befindet sich am Eisplatz in Bad Bayersoien, und der Bus verbindet den See mit der Region Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberammergau, Wieskirche und Füssen (Linie 9606).
Gäste der Ammergauer Alpen Region fahren mit der elektronischen Gästekarte bzw. der KönigsCard kostenlos mit dem Bus.
