Restaurant WildstrubelSafety information
The mountains are a place of joy to be shared and respected. A place to meet and experience unforgettable moments together – whether by bike or on foot. To ensure that everyone can enjoy them equally, it is essential to share this space with respect for nature, agriculture and other users. Respectful behaviour allows everyone to enjoy their leisure activities in the best possible conditions. Make sure to inform yourself about recommendations and rules.Use of the hiking trails on this website is at your own risk. Local conditions may necessitate changes to the route. - Carry a map with you. Download the complete description of the hiking trail with a large-scale map by clicking on "Print" at the top right of the page.
- Only use marked hiking trails and follow all signposts and instructions – for your own safety, to protect livestock, and to avoid disturbing wildlife.
- Close gates behind you after passing through.
- Be considerate of other trail users, plants and animals.
- Bring extra sun protection. UV radiation at high altitudes can be very strong, especially in winter, even on overcast days.
- Plan your hike carefully: take into account the required fitness level of all participants, as well as the weather forecasts and seasonal conditions.
- Weather conditions in the mountains can change very quickly and without warning. Appropriate clothing and sufficient provisions (food and drink) are very important, particularly in winter. In case of unstable weather, it is better to turn back early.
- Inform someone of your planned route. Avoid going alone whenever possible.
- Do not venture onto glaciers without a mountain guide or the appropriate experience.
- Pay attention to warning signs indicating danger on riverbanks, along watercourses below dams and reservoirs: the water level can rise quickly and without warning. In snowy conditions, the avalanche risk especially must be taken into account.
