The path leads over Schloss- and Bergstraße in a sunny south-facing location past the hotel "Allgäu Sonne" to the junction with the B308. Through the underpass, we follow the cleared footpath to Willis. Downhill to the left, past the Hotel Bergkristall, we first pass some individual farms, before we have a place to stop at Ponyhof in Hinterhalden (observe opening hours). The route continues to the Eibele district.
If you follow the road to the border bridge to Vorarlberg, you can admire the Eibele waterfalls on the right. Back on the road to the town entrance and further to the dam on the Weißach (road bridge directly above the falls). Here choose the path left along the flowing Weißach. Upon arriving at the Weißach district, a hiking trail directly in front of the "Royal Bavarian Gentian Hut" first climbs steeply uphill and then along the forest edge to the Mondi holiday club. From there, via the Aurel-Stadler-Weg back to Oberstaufen.
