Safety information
Please pay attention to traffic when crossing the main street.
Emergency situations - If an emergency occurs, quick help is needed. And even though mobile phones can send GPS signals, the classic rescue points often work fastest. These are located where emergency vehicles can easily access. Memorize the points with green signs and a white cross. In an emergency, return there and give the number on the sign when calling for help. This way, rescuers know where to find you.

Roadbook
We start our circular route at Mundoplatz in Minfeld. Already on the way there, we see on the right side the first artwork of the route, a sculpture made of iron - "Untitled" by Martin Schöneich. As we move further towards the square, we have to lift our gaze a little because only then does the "Tim" by Daniel Moriz Lehr, swinging in the air, become visible. In the middle of Mundoplatz, the "Signpost" by Martin Schöneich points in all directions. Next to the fountain, you can see wood sculptures by Marco Bruckner. Along the path towards the Schreber youth house, on the left side, there is a reminiscence by the Bad Dürkheim artist Mathias Nikolaus of the saline system of the well-known spa town: "Hommage Saline". The conclusion is a wooden sculpture by Willie Hoffelder. On the right side, the sun lights up the colorful church glass elements of the "Light Gate" by Eckhard Meyer-Wölfle, and in the direction of Mundoplatz floats Britta Ischka's "Little Cloud".
Turning from Mundoplatz towards the Herrengasse exit. Along the Kultur barn, paintings by Gisela Liedtke and Christa Fuhrmann are on display. We turn left and walk along Herrengasse until Limoursstraße starts on the right. Here we turn right and see on the right a sandstone sculpture by Carmen Stahlschmidt, "Fantasy 2". Further along the street, you are greeted by "Okke", "Ossem" and the "Big Noses" by Michael Liebel. We return and turn into Wiesengrund. Here we encounter the futuristic "Nautilus" by Marc Reibel. We follow the street until on the right we turn into Jahnstraße towards the sports field and playground. The adventure playground invites a short break. Here, surrounded by Native American tipis, is Guntram Prochaska's wooden sculpture "Totem Pole". From here, a stork’s nest with its occupants can also be observed from spring onwards.
After a short rest, we take the short way back. We turn right into Leisengarten and at the end of the street on the right, reach a lovingly maintained small spot. Here, Petra Roquette's sculpture made from a large piece of bog oak, unearthed during road works in Holzgasse, and Thomas Leitheiser’s steel sculpture "Life" have found a beautiful place among roses.
Now we continue quite oppositely. After crossing Holzgasse and turning right, we come after the curve to a small piece of industrial history: here stand sawmill machines that were in operation until 1965 in the then sawmill, which was about 100m towards the village. We walk back towards the village, back over Holzgasse and turn right into "Am Flachbach" street, then go left a bit through Gartenstraße, immediately turn right into Holderbusch, and follow it until the main street. Here, on the opposite side, stands another monument from bygone times: the historic railway signal, which recalls the many villagers who used to work for the railway. We continue straight along the main street until you reach the Saarstraße intersection. We cross it carefully and reach the cozy "Plätzel". Here, sandstone sculptures by the artist Werner Mathes surround a comfortable wooden seating group. "Ibex", "Rooster", and "Horned Man" offer quiet company during a rest.
Next, head towards the town exit near the town hall and church. The 400-year-old elm, a natural monument, marks the way. At its feet, "Mourning Couple" by Werner Wagner and "Border Crosser II" by Petra Weiner-Jansen have found a nice spot. Now proceed towards the Protestant church. Here the square opens and offers a view of "The Prophet’s Wish for Only One Day of Rain" by Sëping. In front of the church, the sculpture "The Cloak of St. Martin" by Barbara Jäger and OMI Riesterer thematically leads into the interior of the Protestant church, where St. Martin is depicted as a medieval mural.
Continue along the path towards the cemetery. On the right, in front of the church, "Kyclade" by Mathias Nikolaus has found its place. Another work by the Bad Dürkheim artist is on the left side of the path: "The Gate". Opposite, "Block 06396", also by Mathias Nikolaus, is placed.
We follow the path. "PLATO", the work of artist group Christian Heuchel and Gunter Klag, nestles on the ground to the right and attracts attention with mounted steel spheres. The work "The Red Line" by Ralf Stöhr is found on the left side. To the right of the path are "Torso", "Sunflower", and "Vine" by the artist Werner Mathes. Further along, you pass the sandstone sculpture by Roswitha van der Zander "Two Women". The path continues over Saarstraße. Looking left at the cemetery exit, you see a historic oil extraction pump that was in operation in Minfeld until 1960.
Now turn right, walk along Saarstraße, and see the stainless steel sculpture by Klaus Gündchen shining between the almond trees. Further along Saarstraße is Carola Lantermann's "Terrestris II". We reach the Plätzel again and cross the main street to enter Herrengasse. Here, in front of the Catholic church, stands another stainless steel sculpture by Klaus Gündchen. A little further straight ahead, we turn left and return to our starting point, Mundoplatz.
