Welcome to Grünstadt!
We invite you to our circular route, a entertaining audiowalk and city tour through the center of Grünstadt.
At a total of 11 points along the way, we have provided you with interesting information about the sights. You can walk the route using the directions (the links to the information on YouTube are marked as "Station") or you can use the official and free Rheinland-Pfalz erleben app.
Here's how it works on site: Start or install the Rheinland-Pfalz erleben app, activate the GPS function of your smartphone, select the tour, click on "open in app" and choose the map view. Now you can start the tour and play the audio and video files at any of the symbols visible on the map. So you don't have to look at your smartphone all the time and can consciously experience the city tour with your head held high. To set the tone, we show you here in the video what awaits you on the Citywalk Grünstadt.
The independent city is home to almost 14,000 people and, like many municipalities in the Palatinate, has a long and eventful history.
This interactive circular tour called "City-Walk Grünstadt" is very compact and brings you closer to the city center of Grünstadt across less than 2 kilometers with 11 interesting stations. Audio and video explanations provide additional information about the respective locations. Alongside the central squares of the city, we explore churches and other historic buildings together.
“Alla Hopp!” … means something like “Let’s go!” here in the Palatinate! We wish you lots of fun!

Accessibility
Between Station 5 (Grünstadt City Hall) and 6 (Leininger Unterhof) there are steps to overcome. Alternative: from the Town Hall, cross the large traffic light and follow the narrow Bingerloch Alley (next to Café Rialto). At its end, turn left to reach the Obergasse. Station 6 is located there behind the Martinskirche (Station 7).
Those who wish to avoid the steps at Station 11 (Schillerplatz) should continue straight ahead along Neugasse until they can turn right again into the barrier-free pedestrian zone.

Roadbook
The circular route starts and ends at the Old Town Hall / Local History Museum / Tourist Information at the northern end of the pedestrian zone. There is often only a short distance between the individual stations.
Along the route, there are occasionally steps. How to bypass these is explained in the notes "Author's tip / Accessibility".
