Stadt Sigmaringen
As part of the 2013 garden show, a circular path with 11 swings so far was created along the Danube cycle path, between the Laiz weir and the suspension bridge behind the festival grounds.
The swing path can be used barrier-free by children, adults, and wheelchair users alike. While following the path, on which the swings are strung like a "string of pearls," young and old receive interesting insights into the flora and fauna on the banks of the young Danube. The circular path also passes a renaturalized section of the Danube and a nature observation tower.
Author’s recommendation
Along the swing path, there are not only many swings for fun but also many signs that serve as a bee educational trail.
