Sledding pass next to and above the famous Lauberhorn downhill course.
4.5 kilometer sledding path directly beside the Lauberhorn downhill: Here sledders are closer to racers than anywhere else. On the partly demanding, carefully prepared course you can drive as tactically as they do. What is the smartest line? How can momentum be better used? Those who think as cunningly as a fox on the Fox Run accelerate immediately after the start at Wengernalp and make a fast run to Wengen. Then ride back up quickly to do even better next round. Tip: if you go down fast enough, you just make it without waiting for the next train at Wengernalp. Sledding until the runners glow!

Thanks to the central location in Europe, Switzerland is served by international trains from over 12 countries. Within Switzerland, intercity trains run directly from Basel and Lucerne to the Jungfrau Region. Travelers from Zurich change trains in Bern. The trains run every half hour.
Grindelwald
From Interlaken Ost station, we reach Grindelwald without changing trains using the Bernese Oberland Railway (BOB). Important: board the rear part of the train as it splits in Zweilütschinen. Boarding at the front leads to Lauterbrunnen. The journey takes 30 minutes to Grindelwald Terminal (V-Bahn). Three minutes later we arrive at the final station in the village.
Grindelwald has three stations (Terminal, Grund, and Dorf). The final station (Dorf) is located in the center of Grindelwald.
Wengen
From Interlaken Ost station, we reach Wengen in 44 minutes. Using the blue-yellow Bernese Oberland Railway (BOB) train, we get to Lauterbrunnen. Important: sit in the front part of the train as it splits in Zweilütschinen. Sitting at the back takes you to Grindelwald. In Lauterbrunnen, transfer to the yellow-green Wengernalp Railway (WAB) train, which takes 12 minutes to reach Wengen.
Directions
The fastest way to the Jungfrau Region from Basel and Geneva is via Bern. From Zurich, the route via Lucerne and the Brünig Pass is recommended. The pass is open year-round.
From the south, access to the Jungfrau Region is via the Grimsel or Susten passes. Both passes are only open in summer. As an alternative, the Simplon Pass with subsequent car shuttle through the Lötschberg tunnel is offered.
Grindelwald
From Interlaken, follow the main road to Zweilütschinen. Here, turn left towards Grindelwald. The entire drive takes about 30 minutes and runs over a partially winding route.
Wengen
Wengen is car-free. If arriving by car, you must leave it in Lauterbrunnen and take the train. The trip from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen takes about 20 minutes.

Wengen
Directly beneath Lauterbrunnen station is a multi-story parking garage. Alternatively, the parking lot by Lauterbrunnen church can be used. From there, a bus runs every half hour to the station. On foot, it takes about 10 minutes.
