From the parking lot along the forest road to the signpost in Schönmoos towards Liezener Hütte. Following roughly the summer markings to the first alpine huts, then turn north towards Lampaltenbach or Hochtor. Excellent ski markings up to Liezener Hütte. From there, continue north onto the high plateau and keep the direction to the summit. Descent the same way as the ascent or to Hochmölbinghütte and via the Grazer Steig to Langpoltenalm.
