Die Route beginnt in Davos und erreicht Chur auf demselben Weg, überquert den Wolfgangpass und führt durch das Prättigau hinab nach Landquart, wo sie dem Rhein bis nach Chur folgt. Von hier aus beginnt der Anstieg nach Valbella. Über 13 km und fast 1000 Höhenmeter führen hinauf zum Pass. Nach einigen flacheren Kilometern geht es hinab nach Vazerol und dann über eine Nebenstrasse nach Brienz und schliesslich nach Alvaneu Dorf, ohne nach Tiefencastel abfahren zu müssen. Die Route führt zurück nach Davos und folgt der Hauptstrasse über Wiesen, Glaris, Frauenkirch und wieder auf dem Veloweg von Islen nach Davos Platz.
