Mélogne waterfall - Nordic walking route no. 11
The varied terrain, punctuated by some technical zones, will allow you to assess your adaptability depending on your disability. This route is the ideal test before trying the handi'spot certified trail routes of the station.
It starts from the parking lot of the Hauteville leisure area next to the sports complex.
From there you will set out on a route that won't leave you indifferent due to its profile with 2 nice climbs that will allow you to work your cardio gently and help you progress technically and physically.
You will be rewarded by discovering the Sully Tree, linked to the history of the Duchy of Savoy and France. But for the more curious, you can leave this route and go recharge at the foot of the Mélogne waterfall. The bravest will surely dip their feet!!
You will cross hay meadows, please respect the markings and path to allow herds to coexist peacefully with Nordic walkers who love the outdoors.
This Nordic walking route is certified Cani 'spot!
Starting from Boost Center, it is a route with low elevation and not too long.
The start takes place on a tarmac section of about 800m, be careful with cars and your dog's pads. You will then follow the Lesines pond where you will cross a succession of wooden footbridges. In wet periods, watch out for mud and be careful on the footbridges.
Near the Mélogne waterfall, a small out-and-back is possible to refresh your dog. You will then cross different pasture areas, thanks to cattle grids, be cautious with animals and keep your dog on a leash.
The end of the route also follows the road, be careful.
*A team of canine experts and On Piste carried out a field evaluation to gather essential technical data. This information, accessible via the Cani 'Spot icons on the route map, helps you prepare your outing and determine if the route suits your dog and its sport level.
