The "Panorama Circle" described here is continuously marked and leads up to a rocky ridge high above the Valbona Valley, which not only offers magnificent views but is also ideally suited for resting and lingering, as shaded spots under tall trees can be found very close to the highest point.
In the sunlit forests during the ascent, you can discover magnificent orchids; in the dry grassland around the "summit," the magnificent Albanian lilies, which only occur in this region, bloom in June, as do irises and numerous other flowers, while soon behind, hidden in a small meadow in the forest, daffodils are also in full bloom at the same time.
Among the wildlife encountered on this route are numerous butterflies and other insects, especially squirrels and particularly splendid snails in their shells. The highlight is probably the sighting of one of the emerald lizards measuring more than 25 cm, which with a bit of luck can be seen directly on the sunny rocks of the viewpoint.

Maya e RoshitRoadbook
You cross the stone bridge over the Valbona River, turn left immediately behind it, and follow the trail tracks along the riverbank until you spot old yellow-red markings on the right that lead uphill and onto a pull path. Soon the path bends to the left and joins a marked trail that leads downstream and soon gently uphill, gradually veering right and leading through open woodland into a side valley. Follow the yellow-red markings to a shaky footbridge over the stream, cross it, and on the other bank continue downstream to a wooden bridge where you cross the stream again. Beyond this, go straight uphill over a slope to a fallen signpost. Here, do not follow a right arrow pointing to a "Guesthouse" or turn left towards Maya e Roshit, but head straight uphill towards a large boulder with a memorial plaque, where you find yellow-red markings leading uphill. Cross the sparsely vegetated slope up to the forest edge and then continue uphill on a clearly visible path marked by signs and in switchbacks. The path later crosses right onto a ridge in the forest and then ascends diagonally left in switchbacks again. Finally, it leads steeply uphill to a crossing right through a rocky slope to a terrain edge, where you turn sharply left to reach a flat hilltop with a magnificent view ("viewpoint").
For the onward route from the viewpoint, go back a few meters east and then turn left to cross a mountain meadow that in spring hosts a magnificent display of blooming Albanian lilies. Below, follow the yellow-red markings leading into the forest, where the path soon becomes clearly visible again. Here it descends gently through a rocky woodland, then slightly uphill again and through old windfall, always following the markings, then descends once more past a narcissus meadow. Afterwards, it ascends slightly again in the forest until a fallen tree blocks the path, which you bypass on the uphill side to regain the path behind the tree, which here runs through dense hazel bushes. You pass the foot of a rock wall and then cross a magnificent mountain meadow before reaching a rocky ridge that offers another beautiful view, before descending into the valley behind it where you encounter a signposted fork. Here, turn right (downstream) to start the steep descent towards Valbona. The descent leads down in nicely laid-out switchbacks and you soon spot a white-red painted cell mast in the valley depth that you will pass later. Before that, the last section is a bit unpleasant, descending over scree and alluvial terrain. From the mast, follow a gravel track descending in switchbacks to the valley and finally return to the starting point via the stone bridge.
