Three Lakes Loop

We start our bike trip at the Berghof in front of the hotel entrance. Through the roundabout past the chalets and the pony stable, we reach the toll road and ride down it.

After a few curves, we turn right. Here we follow the signs to Hüttenberg. It goes downhill fast. We follow the path until we arrive at the Hüttenberg dairy. From there we turn left onto the road and stay on it until we can turn right onto a narrow bike path.

We make a left turn and stay on the path. At the end of the forest section, we come to a side street in a residential area. We turn left and ride past the houses until we turn fully right into the settlement.

At the end of the residential area, we briefly switch right onto the road to reach the bathing path at Sonthofner Lake. We ride all the way around the lake until we reach a gravel path. Feel free to take a break here to jump into the lake. At the end of the path, we turn right onto another gravel path. Now the main road is in front of us; we turn right and stay on the sidewalk, crossing the bridge until we approach the traffic light. Opposite us is the Aral gas station. We cross the street on green. We ride left and then turn right onto the Iller bike path.

We follow this until we turn right around a corner. We pass a tennis court and after a few meters turn left onto a wooden bridge. Here we are already on the bike path from Ortwanger Lake. At the end of the bridge, we turn right onto the bike path. We follow it until we reach a junction and turn right there. Ortwanger Lake is very refreshing and is perfect to cool off completely. Along the Iller, we ride until we see another small residential area. At the end of this small area, we turn right onto the paved road. In front of us is a big main road again. We ride left onto the bridge and stay on the sidewalk here too.

We approach a small traffic island and cross the street. We stay on the left side and pass a tennis court. We are currently in Blaichach.

At the tennis court, we turn right onto the gravel path and pass an outdoor sports facility. We ride for a long time along the Iller until we reach the bathing lake Insel See. After a short break, we continue straight along the road until we reach a roundabout. Here we take the third exit and immediately reach a second roundabout where we take the second exit. We stay on the road in Immenstadt and ride until the car dealership Allgaier. We turn right into the settlement and ride straight until we reach a bike path that leads across a meadow. At the end of the bike path, we are in Altmummen and turn right. We ride through the curves until we arrive in Schwanden. From there, we ride on the road to Ettensberg.

We keep right and across from the Schratt riding stable, we turn right again. From there, it goes serpentining further up. At the Derb hut, we continue upwards. We keep heading towards Gunzesried, passing the dairy, fish farm, and Berghaus Rusch. At the Gunzesried Säge parking lot, we keep right and pass Kamineck. We ride a rocky, slightly steep mountain path up to Buhls Alpe.

Next is the Ostertal parking lot. We turn left over the bridge and go straight for a while until we can turn right onto a forest path. We ride to Geißrückensee and take the right path past the Geißrückenalpe. We continue uphill through the forest until we come out at the middle station of the Ossi Reichert Bahn. Passing the team house, we ride back to the hotel entrance of Allgäuer Berghof.
