Die Sennalpe Derb liegt am Reuteweg, am Fuße des Mittags, zwischen Ettensberg und Gunzesried.
Die Alpe ist Dank ihrer Lage leicht zugänglich und in einem kurzen Spaziergang zu erreichen. Vom Parkplatz führt sogar ein kinderwagentauglicher Weg herauf. Der Ausblick von der Sonnenterrasse ist trotz der gerinen Höhenlage einmalig: Grünten, Sonthofen, Allgäuer Bergwelt. Sportler müssen nicht auf schöne Touren verzichten: bei Tageswanderungen und Mountainbiketouren bietet sich die Alpe Derb als Einkehrmöglichkeit unterwegs an.
Zur Stärkung gibt's typische Allgäuer Brotzeiten mit Käse aus eigener Herstellung. Die Alpe Derb ist Partner-Alpe des Vereins Allgäuer Alpgenuss e.V. und wirtschaftet nachhaltig für Umwelt, Mensch und Tier.
Wenn die Wetterlage es einmal nicht erlaubt, draußen zu sitzen, steht eine gemütliche Stube für 30 Personen zur Verfügung. Jeden Donnerstag gibt es auf der Alpe musikalische Unterhaltung.
