Panorama Loop Ramsau (SD 305)
Along the route, both athletes and nature lovers experience the diversity of the alpine environment: quiet valleys, traditional mountain farms, and expansive alpine pastures shape the scenery. In particular, the area around Ramsau am Dachstein reveals an impressive high plateau landscape, known for its sunny views and its proximity to the Dachstein.

Roadbook
From Mandling, the route continues to Pichl and then follows cycling paths and quiet side roads to Schladming. In the town centre, head towards the Planai valley station and continue via the district of Untere Klaus and the Birnberg to Ramsau am Dachstein.
From Ramsau, the tour leads past Gasthof Edelbrunn to Brandalm and then climbs further to the Türlwandhütte at approximately 1,750 metres above sea level. The mountain hut offers magnificent views of the Dachstein massif and is an ideal place to take a break.
The route then continues via Neustattalm to Bachlalm. From there, enjoy a downhill ride to Auwirt. Turn right at Auwirt and follow the forest road towards the reservoir. From the reservoir, continue back to Filzmoos. The final kilometres once again follow the main road.
This circular tour combines challenging climbs, scenic alpine trails and impressive panoramic views, showcasing some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Filzmoos and Schladming-Dachstein regions.

Public transport
By train:Destination stations: Eben im Pongau or Radstadt (both on the Salzburg – Bischofshofen – Schladming – Graz railway line). From Salzburg main station, there are regular trains (about once every hour). The journey takes about 1 hour.
Continue by bus or taxi: From Eben im Pongau or Radstadt, bus line 521 goes directly to Filzmoos, stop Neuberg/Reitsteg (travel time approx. 20–30 minutes). Alternatively, taxis are available at the station.
Tip: The buses do not run very frequently – check the timetable in advance and whether the bus also transports bicycles on ÖBB
With the Fidibus summer service: From Filzmoos (Filzmoos tourist information), there is the Fidibus Summer (hiking bus), which takes you from Filzmoos to Neuberg, stopping at Neuberg. Here you can find the timetable.
