MTB Sauerbründl Route

The mountain bike route starts in Bad Sauerbrunn and leads along the border path through the forest up to the Rosalia. Past the Gspitzen Riegl, it continues along the route to the Süßenbrunnerweg, where the trail now leads downhill. At this junction, you can also take a detour to the Wiesen/Lanzenkirchen viewing tower at Steinkogel as well as to the summit of Heuberg to the Rosalia Chapel. There you can enjoy exceptional views and excellent rest opportunities. You can see far into the Pannonian Plain, over Lake Neusiedl, to Bratislava and the Vienna Basin on one side, as well as the Schneeberg and the Bucklige Welt on the other. Then it goes down to our Lower Austrian neighbors in Frohsdorf, where the Lower Austrian Hof invites you to stop in, and Schloss Katzelsdorf is along the way. Then further to Neudörfl with numerous wine taverns and accommodation options. You close the circular tour again in Bad Sauerbrunn. There, the chill spa park with the rosarium and excellent gastronomy around the main square await you.
