Loop route from Feltre to Cima Grappa
CAI Dolomiti Bellunesi
The route allows you to enter the silent world of the Seren Valley, visiting the characteristic village of Col dei Bof and closely observing (recommended stop) the characteristic "fojaroi". Often accompanied by informational and illustrative boards, the route continues along many places that marked the history of the First World War on Monte Grappa, among beech woods and meadow valleys (Vall'Onera, Val dell'Albero, ...).
Along the route there are several refreshment points where you can rest and enjoy the views and local products.
The arrival point is Cima Grappa, where it is possible to visit the Ossuary and admire the magnificent 360-degree panorama, from the Venetian valley to the Plateau of the Seven Municipalities, from the Vette Feltrine to Monte Coppolo and Cima Campo.
The descent takes place on an easy asphalted road where there are several other refreshment and panoramic points.

Roadbook
From Feltre it is possible to reach Seren del Grappa following various routes; the one in the track passes through Mugnai and continues crossing the bed of the Stizzon stream.
Once past Seren del Grappa, you enter the valley and continue on an easy asphalted road up to a sign indicating Col dei Bof. The route continues alternating paved sections with dirt or rocky ones, but never difficult; just follow the signs for Rifugio Bocchette (white-green arrows).
The most challenging section (technically and physically) is just after passing Fondi di Vall'Onera when the dirt road becomes a path; rocky, often muddy and marked by livestock passage, this section of about 120 m elevation gain is mostly walked pushing the bike. Once this section ends, you follow a rocky path that requires attention and bike control.
After passing Monte Prassolan (on the right), you enter the evocative Val delle Bocchette where the route returns to being easy and on a wide road, sometimes paved, or grassy and rocky.
After passing Rifugio Bocchette, you ascend to Forcelletto, from where it is possible to reach Cima Grappa along the asphalted Cadorna Road or (as indicated in the track) the rocky road that runs parallel and gradually rises to reach the summit.
The return is along the easy asphalted road to Caupo, from where you continue to Mugnai and then to Feltre along the same section traveled on the outward journey.
