The beautiful peat bog of Colfiorito; the almost unknown isolated hamlets; the small artificial lake of Acciano and the small waterfalls of the Topino river, will be the places visited during this itinerary.

-WARNINGS on the use of the Azimut project content: The extension of the trails in this network is very vast and subject to rapid and unpredictable degradation due to natural or human causes, so the available human and economic resources are insufficient to address all the critical issues in real time, however the network exists although it may sometimes present issues of passability and/or orientation. Moreover, the electronic GPS routes may contain errors due to the instruments used or the methods of survey or tracing, they should be considered an aid for locating the itinerary and for navigation and do not replace the topographic map and traditional orientation tools. For these reasons, the exercise of informative activities to the public, monitoring, maintenance of the paths and signage by the volunteers coordinated by the CAI of Macerata, does not exclude the existence of obstacles and natural difficulties nor the risks connected to the frequentation of the natural environment and anyone undertaking a route/itinerary even if signposted, does so under their own responsibility to know and be able to control the adopted means, to wear appropriate clothing, to have prepared adequately physically, to be aware of orientation techniques, reading of the territory and maps, to be able to recognize and evaluate the risks of their behavior and the precautions to mitigate their effects.
Roadbook
The climbs are well distributed, only 2 sections remain tiring: the first with a length of 600 linear meters on a rocky ground; the second of 200 linear meters along the Topino river on a well-compacted path but with slope and vegetation that make progression difficult and tiring.
The descents mainly take place on dirt roads and unpaved tracks with some sections on rocky ground that must be handled calmly and carefully.
While circling Lake Acciano, a ditch with water is crossed without any problem and immediately after there is a section that sometimes remains flooded or muddy; with some attention, getting off the bike, staying to the right and pressing down the nettles, it is possible to pass.
To visit the small waterfalls of the Topino river, a dirt road crossing a field is taken (in which, depending on the seasons, tall grass may be found); if desired, it can be avoided by staying on the dirt road that climbs to the hamlet of Aggi.
