From the Faistenoy car park, follow a meadow path to Birgsau and finally a forest road to Einödsbach. There, the path to Bacherloch branches off to the left. The ascent to the Waltenbergerhaus is partly secured with wire cables and footbridges.
The next morning, the ascent to the Bockkarscharte begins. To the right, the Heilbronner Way now leads over the Bockkarkopf and the Socktal notch to the Wild Man. Via the Steinschartenkopf, you reach the ascent to the Hoher Licht. The 2,615 m high summit can be included in the route before descending via the Kleine and Große Steinscharte to the Rappensee Hut.
The further descent leads past the serviced Enzian Hut and the Petersalpe to Einödsbach. From there, you return on the same route from the first day back to the Faistenoy car park.
