    Author’s recommendation

Reaching the Gandegghütte is easy by train to Trockener Steg and then about 30 minutes to the hut. Those who want to optimally acclimatize for the upcoming stages choose to hike up on foot.

    Paul Krämer
Hi Aurélien, yes, I did the tour myself. The Spaghetti Tour is a challenging high-alpine tour. In order to master the risks of crevasses, steep firn flanks and rock climbing sections as well as the orientation in the terrain for a long time at an altitude of 4,000 metres, you need very good alpine qualifications as well as experience from several other high alpine tours with high 3000-metre peaks. The risk of a crevasse fall is difficult to manage in a 2-person rope team and should only be taken by very experienced alpinists. Please note that depending on the weather conditions, the tour can quickly become much more difficult and dangerous. If you lack the necessary qualifications and experience or are not entirely sure, you should definitely go on the tour with a mountain guide. Best wishes Paul
