Allgäu Logenplatz route - stage 1: Seeg-Nesselwang
A wonderful and scenic stage on the Allgäu Logenplatz route. The panorama moves along. It goes over heights, depending on the season through blooming meadows, through forests, along small lakes. A detour to Ferdinandshöhe to start the hike in Seeg is worthwhile!
A stage on the Allgäu Logenplatz route – with the mountains in view: Please, take a seat! A Logenplatz is something sublime; at the same time, you become a witness to a festive and special event. On this route, about 120 kilometers long, the main role is played by the mountain panorama, which is usually wonderfully visible from the gently rolling pre-Alpine landscape. The start and end point is the idyllic village of Seeg, the honey village of the Allgäu. Like bees, hikers on the route only fly to the tastiest and most beautiful blossoms: fragrant meadows, wetlands and moors with rare plants and insects, waterfalls, scenic heights, a wild river, and a high mountain with views of the castle park, the Alps, and Neuschwanstein Castle.

Provisions: Bring enough water to drink. A snack also tastes especially good on the way.
Weather check: It is best to check various services and ask locals familiar with the mountains, as it can quickly rain or thunderstorm in the mountains.
Companionship: You should not undertake a longer hike alone, even if it seems easy and harmless. Always leave your tour destination at your accommodation.

Equipment
Equipment: With good – broken-in – hiking shoes, you are sure and without blisters on the move. For clothing, layering is recommended: a short and a long shirt (cotton dries poorly, so better wool or special sportswear), zipper pants, sweater, jacket, and rain cape. Also, pack change of clothes, headwear, sunglasses, sunscreen, first aid kit, and flashlight in the backpack.
