A bike route through hills, wool mills, and historic residences, to discover the beauties and excellences of eastern Biellese.
A circular route that explores the eastern side of Biellese, among historic villas, rural centers, wool mills, and cultural institutions.
The Woolscape Elvo route connects Biella, Occhieppo, Netro, Sordevolo, Pollone, and Vigliano, following secondary roads, hilly sections, and low-traffic streets. Along the route, you will encounter historic buildings such as Palazzo Ferrero, Palazzo Gromo Losa, Villa La Marmora, the Trappa of Sordevolo, and the Serra Ecomuseum, as well as museums, Romanesque churches, wool mills, and medieval fortified farmsteads.
It is the most varied route of the Woolscape system, where cultural and natural landscapes intertwine harmoniously, offering panoramic views of the moraine amphitheater and opportunities for culturally interesting stops.
