What to Expect:
During the trip, you’ll explore the Mining Museum, the Václav Adit, the historic Klopačka, and the Matej Shaft, all of which recall the glorious era of gold mining in Kremnica. You can relax at Salaš Revolta with some homemade cheeses, žinčica, or grilled treats. At Eko Produkt Farm, you’ll sample local products and learn about life on an organic farm.
During the trip, you can also treat yourself to a taste of the traditional Atkáry Kremnica potato cake at the period-style pastry shop on the upper floor of the Cultural Information Center, which is located at both the start and end of the route.
The route will also take you to the Slovenský Semmering technical monument, the Church of St. John the Baptist—marked as the geographical center of Europe—the mysterious Šturec Sinkhole, and Kalvária, which offers one of the most beautiful views of Kremnica.
The trip is suitable for families, recreational cyclists, e-bike beginners, and hikers.

For a bike trip through the Kremnica Mountains, tourists should bring a bike in good condition, a helmet, plenty of water, a light snack, appropriate mountain clothing, a cell phone, basic cycling gear, and protection from the sun and insects. When riding an e-bike, we recommend having a fully charged battery and checking the weather and trail conditions before setting out.Localization
