The beauty of Banská Štiavnica, views of the three tajchs, here the soul finds its peace
A relaxing easy cycling route, suitable also for families with children, which leads us to places with beautiful views of 3 tajchs lined up. The loop can be started either from Banská Štiavnica or from Richňava. The route combines deciduous and coniferous forest, field and forest roads, and wonderful views of the surrounding nature. From the place above the Bakomi Tajch, a view opens up like on a palm to the three tajchs - Bakomi, Veľký Vindšachtský Tajch and Evičkino Lake.
Along the way it is possible to go to the lookout on the top of the ski slope/cable car (the cycle route does not go there) - Veľká Roveň, to refresh yourself at Tirschov spring, or to take a ride on the Heligon cycle trail.
Combine your cycling trip with swimming at the Richňava Tajch or with a tour of the picturesque Banská Štiavnica.
