Easy tour through the vineyard with gentle ascents and magnificent views.
Excellent wine grows in Buchholz. The Waldkirch district belongs to the Breisgau growing area. On the educational trail, the work of the winemakers and the different grape varieties are clearly explained.
TIP: What would a hike on a wine educational trail be without tasting the noble drop? Take your time and try a drop at the winemakers or the local gastronomy.

Roadbook
You enter the vineyard with fresh strength. Bees are buzzing, lizards are sunbathing on the walls. Many grape varieties now line your path. Accompanied by the warmth stored in the rocky soil. The path leads you ever further up the vineyard hill.
You hardly notice as you soon lose altitude again. Impressive views. The Rhine plain and Kaiserstuhl to the south and west, the Elz valley and the Black Forest mountains to the east. Now the path noticeably descends until you reach the valley again. Tip: What would a hike on a wine educational trail be without tasting the noble drop? Take your time and try a drop at the winemakers or the local gastronomy.
