Walk to Liptovský hrad

The recommended direction is to start with a steeper climb. The yellow hiking trail leads through the forest to the slope opposite the pond, then emerges onto a meadow, and a path along the edge of the meadow leads to Sedlo pod Kráľovou. The hill Kráľová is bypassed by a path from the right to another saddle, where a footpath turns right, leading all the way to Liptovský hrad.

From the castle, we continue along the yellow trail in the original direction. After a steep forest descent, the trail crosses the meadow and a broken forest path turns left into the valley. At the point where the forest path meets a paved road coming up the valley from the right, there is a nice spring. From there, we follow the valley of the Kalamenianka stream back to the pond.
