Walk in the Kinzig foreland

The start is in Steinach at Adlerplatz. After crossing the main road, the route follows the Kinzigtal cycle path through Flößerweg over the Bollenbacher Steg, a wooden bridge newly built in 2018, crossing the Kinzig. Then a short stretch to the right on the Kinzig dam, left through the small underpass under the B33 and immediately right again along the B33, past meadows with apple and cherry trees, second path left toward the Bollenbach new development area, left into Bohnackerstraße and then left again to the recreation area. Continue along the small path toward Talstraße. Turn left and walk a short stretch on Talstraße, then cross it and continue on the cycle and pedestrian path to the forest playground "Rebwäldele."

After visiting the playground, return to Talstraße, cross it, and take a field path toward the Kinzigtal cycle path (paved agricultural road). Turn right here toward Bollenbacher Kreuz. Leave this on the right and head back in the direction of B33 - underpass - Bollenbacher Steg - continue on the Kinzig dam to the sports ground, then return on Kinzigstraße to the hiking meeting point at Adlerplatz.
