The local history museum in Steinach provides information about the history and customs of the place
In the centre of the village, right next to Steinach's landmark, the Schwarzer Adler half-timbered house, is the Heimat- und Kleinbrennermuseum, which has been in existence for over 40 years.
The museum focuses on small distilleries, the local brewing industry, history, customs, minerals, crafts and rural life. This season there is also a special exhibition on the theme of 125 years of the Steinach Beautification Association.
On Advent Sundays, visitors can see the popular and much-loved special exhibition "Christmas cots".
Coffee, Linzer Torte, Christmas cake and mulled wine are also on offer.
