Starting from the Vilstalsäge guesthouse, you hike into the romantic Vils valley. This hiking trail runs parallel to the Vils – passing the Scheidbachalpe up to the Kalbelehof Alpe (the alpe is open from June to early September).
If you haven’t had enough hiking yet, you can continue on to the Rehbach guesthouse (Tannheimer Tal). (The walking time from Kalbelehof to Rehbach is 45 minutes)
