This year, the traditional Uni-Villa-Hiking (UVW) celebrates its premiere, as for the first time people from both locations of the future Rheinland-Palatinate Technical University Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) hike together.

From the starting points in Kaiserslautern and Landau, the UVW leads via Waldleiningen to Villa Denis in Frankenstein. Once there, young and old are welcomed by the park festival with a colorful program that also includes food and drink and live music.

Ambitious hikers are recommended the 26-kilometer-long full route. Those who want to take it easier but do not want to miss the beauty of nature start at kilometer 13, with the second half of the hike from Waldleiningen. From Landau, transfer options are available to the 26-kilometer start in Kaiserslautern and the 13-kilometer start in Waldleiningen.
