Stork route

From the station in Raisting, walk through the village to the Sölb district. Shortly before the St. Margareta chapel, the path leads downhill in a northeasterly direction and finally out of the village through the commercial area. Several nests are located in this area, where storks use them as nesting sites in spring and early summer. Now it goes on well-maintained paths over open fields and meadows or along the Weidengraben in a curve around the village. Walkers enjoy a wonderful view — first of the Alps, later of the wooded hills to the north and east of Raisting. The path leads back to the village past the stormwater retention basin, where storks are often sighted.
