Das Regenwasserrückhaltebecken am Gräbenbach im Nordosten von Raisting war durch das stete Wachsen des Raistinger Gewerbegebiets notwendig geworden. Gleichzeitig soll es durch seine Lage in unmittelbarer Ortsnähe der Naherholung dienen. Auf der Nordseite des Rückhaltebeckens befindet sich direkt an der Straße ein Steinkreuz (Sühnekreuz) aus Tuffstein.
