Safety information
Consideration for nature and agricultureMany hiking trails in the Pfaffenwinkel run over agricultural and forestry-used paths. These are also used by vehicles and machines. Please be considerate, make room, and observe on-site work. Stay on marked paths, close pasture gates after passing, and respect animals and sensitive habitats.
Forestry work and path closures
Forestry work is regularly carried out in our forests. Please strictly observe posted closures and barriers. These are for your safety – during timber work there is acute danger to life from falling trees or machines.
Natural paths and current conditions
Many paths are natural and may contain roots, stones, or steeper sections. After heavy rain or storms, paths may be damaged or temporarily impassable (e.g., due to fallen trees). Plan your tour accordingly, wear appropriate footwear, and inform yourself about weather and current conditions. Hiking is at your own risk.
