Roadbook
This circular hiking trail, which starts at City Hall, connects Uhingen with Nassachmühle and Diegelsberg. The Schnapsbuckel is associated with the village of Diegelsberg, as the craft of distilling schnapps has a long tradition there. An old distillation kettle on the village square serves as a reminder of this era. After leaving Uhingen, the trail leads halfway up the slope toward the Nassach Valley. With every meter of elevation gain, picturesque views of the Filstal Valley and the mountains of the Albtrauf open up. Cool forest trails and the meandering Nassachbach stream invite you to linger or cool your feet in the fresh water. A mid-elevation trail, characterized by fields and orchard meadows, continues on to Diegelsberg. The “descent” ends in the valley and leads back to the Uhingen town hall along the banks of the Fils.
