Tips and suggestions
Southern Burgenland and Bad TatzmannsdorfRoadbook
Once you arrive in Oberwart, the hike can easily be combined with a visit to the town. Numerous places to stop for refreshments along the way or at the destination in Bad Tatzmannsdorf invite you to take a break. On the way back from Oberwart to Bad Tatzmannsdorf, the route passes through the village of St. Martin in der Wart, the filming location for Martina Parker’s South Burgenland crime thriller “Zuagroast.”
With an elevation gain of about 95 meters, the hike is not particularly strenuous despite its length.
