Route 2.3 Eisenerzer Reichenstein 2165 m

On the hiking path next to the ski slope into the Grübl and over several steps to the Rösselhals, with a beautiful view of the Erzberg. Flat along the ridge to the left, south to the steep west flank of the Reichenstein. Either continue briefly on the flat path or somewhat more directly over the "Stiege," a section secured with an iron stair/ladder to the steep summit ascent. There are several variants to the hut or summit in the upper part – the further left, the steeper! The short ascent to the mighty summit cross again demands some attention. The summit is usually well attended on nice days. From the summit, you can reach the Reichensteinhütte in a few minutes, where you can refresh yourself on the panorama terrace before the descent. The descent proceeds with possible variants along the ascent route.
