Our mountain day begins at the idyllic Fahrerweiher, near the Schermoos car park. Then we ascend to the Möltner Joch and reach the Möltner Kaser. We always hike over gentle alpine meadows. At the Stoanernen Mandln, the highest point of the hike, we have an especially good view of the nearby Dolomites. Rosengarten, Latemar, Lang- and Plattkofel – in good visibility, these mountain massifs present themselves at their best. The descent over the Meraner Hut to Falzeben is varied. There are repeated opportunities to stop at huts.
