Short circular route through the Tüschenbroicher Forest
Starting from the car park at the Tüschenbroicher Mühle, the path initially heads towards the restaurant of the same name, over its sunny terrace and crosses the dam of the mill pond. Then it leads past the Schanzenhof into the forest. After about 300 m, the path turns left into an extensive alder swamp forest. Especially swampy areas are bridged by small boardwalks. Following the winding path, the forest turns into an old mixed beech forest and upon exiting the forest you reach the Tüschenbroicher Oil Mill, which also has a waterwheel. Here, there is also an unobstructed view of the castle and the motte. On the left side, you can see the mill dam belonging to the mill.
