The Moosturm circular route starts at the Moosdohlen parking lot. Walk about 200 m downhill and turn right into the Krebsenbach. Walk along the paved road until you reach a farm and pass the farm on the left, then continue uphill on the road. There you will find another farm; continue straight uphill. Now you will also reach a forest. At the next fork in the path (Krebsenbacher Höhe), keep right - straight ahead until you reach the next fork (Ofenloch).
Now hike up the hill on the Kandelhöhenweg to the right and stay on this route. At the second next fork, go diagonally right uphill towards Michelsbrunnen. From here, follow the signs up to the Moosturm. From there you have a 360° panoramic view over the Central Black Forest all the way to the Vosges. In the pavilion, you can, among other things, leave your mark in the guestbook.
Now go downhill to the Grimmelshausen monument. This was dedicated to the famous author Grimmelshausen from Rechen. In the middle of the 17th century, he wrote "Der Abentheuerliche Simplicissimus Teutsch". At the monument, go diagonally right on a wide gravel path towards Siedighalde and continue straight ahead. At the next fork, diagonally right towards Späneplatz. At Späneplatz, follow the sign to the left towards Moosdohlen.
From this point, this wide gravel path only goes downhill until you reach your vehicle again.
