The hike starts at Pfronten-Röfleuten-North with a small climb towards Edelsberg/Edelsberghütte (formerly Gundhütte). At the fork, turn right onto the Kappeler high route. On this path is our "Mountain Meadow Trail" where you can discover many different herbs such as broadleaf plantain, mountain arnica, sorrel, or St. John's wort. At the end of the path, you reach the district of Pfronten-Kappel.
A connecting hike is possible from Kappel to the Hündeleskopfhütte - about 45 minutes walking time from Kappel
