Tourismusverband Traunsee-Almtal
It accompanies the hiker as a companion for all those seeking rest and reflection. Along the way, spiritual impulses encourage the walker to pause. These three daily stages of 7 hours, 5 hours, and 8 hours provide enough time to come a bit closer to the destination and also to oneself in the unique landscape of the Attersee - Traunsee Nature Park.

Roadbook
The starting point is the Altmünster Parish Church. From there, the route goes over Grasberg with a wonderful view of Lake Traunsee and Traunstein, to the church of St. Josef in Reindlmühl. Then on over Hongar to Gahberg, with a magnificent view of Lake Attersee and the surrounding mountains. Upon arrival in Weyregg, you can end the first day stage by the turquoise-blue lake. The next morning, the route begins with the Weyregg Wasserroas trail. Over Bramhosen and Praterstern, you now head towards Großalm, where the 2nd day stage ends. Calls to the Traunstein Taxi Central come in until 7 p.m., which you can take daily until 8 p.m. to Altmünster if you don't find accommodation here. On call at +43 50 422 1691, it runs hourly at a favorable fixed price.
With a view of the Höllengebirge, the 3rd and final stage starts, going over the beautiful Way of the Cross to the Richtberg-Taferl chapel. Here you can visibly enjoy the restorative healing power of the forest. Following the path of the Way of the Cross towards Reindlmühl, you come to the church of St. Josef a second time. On the last stretch of the Josefweg, a breathtaking panorama of the crystal-clear Traunsee accompanies the hiker at Gmundnerberg before returning to the starting point in Altmünster.
