Isny - Herbisweiher circular route

From the hiking parking lot Schwanden, head through the spruce-covered Zeller Forest to the newly dammed Herbisweiher. After decades of dormancy, an idyllic still body of water is developing again following the recent damming. A few minutes' pause to observe the many aquatic insects, frogs, and waterfowl or simply to let your soul dangle is definitely worthwhile. From Herbisweiher, you reach a wooded high path to the connecting road Neutrauchburg - Menelezhofen. From there, it is only a short distance to the "Lower Argen." Following its course, you return through the Zeller Forest to the parking lot.
