    Equipment

An important prerequisite for a successful hike is, besides careful study of the map material, optimal equipment. Basic equipment includes sturdy, well-fitting hiking boots, as well as a water- and   wind-resistant jacket and overpants (rain protection). Sunglasses, mobile phone and first aid kit should also find the necessary space in a small backpack.
