A beautiful route for all the senses. This route leads from the Vilstal through Himmelreich to the Bärenmoosalpe along a narrow forest path. Great views are definitely guaranteed here.
The start is at the Vilstal adventure playground (Indian playground). From there, you follow the paved road towards Vilstal. After about 200 m, there is a turn-off to a forest road on the left side. After crossing the Vils bridge, turn right onto the forest road. Then there is a turn-off to the forest path (can be slippery/muddy in wet weather) to the left towards Himmelreich. After the clearing at saddle height, continue to the right towards the Bärenmoosalpe. The descent is on the same route or alternatively via the gravel path Himmelreich back through Schochersäge and Vilstalsäge.
