Hike from St. Johann to the Vogeihütte

Along a beautiful forest path, you go from St. Johann to the Vogei Hut. Enjoy the magnificent view over St. Johann!
The starting point is the forest swimming pool in St. Johann. There you turn left onto the hiking trail to the Vogei Hut / Hahnbaum. The path is very well signposted. The local mountain of St. Johann is also very popular among locals. The forest path is quite steep in places but you are rewarded with a great view over St. Johann, the Hochkönig up to the Tennengebirge. On the way, you will also pass some Kneipp facilities. A cool-down can’t hurt!
At the top, the hosts will spoil you with excellent cuisine!
Author’s recommendation
After 5 minutes on foot, since 2021 there has been a tree course with 4 tracks and 30 stations. Admission is free. Definitely go through it - it's really fun!

Roadbook
The start is at the forest swimming pool; to the left before the entrance, the path leads to the Vogeihütten, followed by about 1 hour of ascent. When you reach the forest road at the top, turn right to Vogeihütten. The neighboring Hahnbaumalm is not open.
The return route is the same as the ascent.
