Pfarrkiche zu Ehren der Hll. Johannes des Täufers und Johannes Evangelista
Diese zweitürmige Pfarrkirche mit gotischem Holzbildwerk ist das Wahrzeichen von Sankt Johann. Urkundlich erwähnt wurde sie erstmals 924. Nach dem Marktbrand von 1855 wurde die Kirche von Grund auf neu gebaut (1855-1861). Die neugotischen Altäre beherbergen etliche spätgotische Figuren. Die mächtige Lage über dem Salzachtal sowie der majestätische Innenraum machen den Bau zu einem der Hauptwerke der kirchlichen Architektur.
