The starting point is the Gruberhof (parking available). From there, follow König-Otto-Straße towards the town exit. The first street on the right - Hechtseeweg, after a steep climb up to Sonneck. Continue on the hiking trail crossing a parking lot and reach the König-Otto-Weg coming from the main road. Going straight ahead, you reach a forest hiking trail running parallel to the main road. Follow the signs to Hechtsee. Circle Hechtsee on the right or left side and return the same way. Walking time: approx. 1.5 hours.
