Varied tour for experienced hikers that combines a roaring gorge with summit views. Mostly unpaved nature trails lead through a forested area, but also paved and unpaved service roads. In some sections, the tour runs on paved side roads, and towards the end along a short section next to the ST 318.

Visitors to the Eistobel gain up-close insights into the geology of the relatively young landscape shaped by glaciers while hiking. The natural experience is complemented by explanatory models, panels, maps, and brochures in the info pavilion at the starting point. The crossing of the gorge of the Upper Argen passes steeply rising conglomerate and sandstone walls, swirling rapids, and waterfalls as well as impressive erratic boulders, some of which are accessible by bridges and footpaths. Not only the shallow water areas with picnic opportunities in the Eistobel but also the summits of Iberg and Riedholzer Kugel with views of the West Allgäu offer spots to rest.
